Original low boby storage trolley designed by joe colombo and manufactured by bieffeplast in italy during the 1970s.
this compact configuration measures 53 cm in height and incorporates three independently rotating drawers together with open side compartments and a lower storage shelf. The entire structure is mounted on castors, allowing the trolley to move easily between different working or living areas.
manufactured in molded off-white abs, this example retains its original yellow ribbed anti-slip mats. Their strong graphic contrast with the neutral body makes this particular configuration especially distinctive.
the rotating drawer system is central to colombo's design: each tray pivots independently around a vertical axis, allowing the storage volume to expand while in use and collapse back into a compact architectural form when closed.
good vintage condition with visible signs of age and use, including scratches, marks and areas of discoloration to the abs. The original yellow mats show age-related wear. The trolley has been carefully cleaned while preserving its original surfaces and character. Structurally sound and fully functional.
