Attributed to world-renowned glass master Ercole Barovier for Barovier & Toso, this exquisite mid-century ensemble was hand-blown on the island of Murano, Italy, circa 1950.
The set features a classic pumpkin-shaped lidded trinket/powder jar and a matching ribbed perfume decanter bottle. Crafted from heavy, thick, high-quality crystal clear glass, both pieces display a mesmerizing, carousel-like swirled rib design infused with dense, luminous 24k gold leaf dust inclusions (Aventurine/Polveri) that radiate warmth when catching the light. Each piece is topped with its original, heavy spherical solid glass stopper/finial handle embedded with coordinating gold flecks.
