Important piece of Swedish art glass history. A Triton vase in vaguely blue tinted clear, multi-faceted, beveled and polished crystal glass. Designed in 1916 by Sculptor Simon Gate (1893-1945) and examples of this design was executed at Orrefors until 1920. According to our research a clear example has not been for sale since 2008.
The underside of the base is scratched excessively and you can barely make the word Orrefors out.

Pp 26-27. 'The young, recently employed Simon Gate was also asked to modernize even the cut glass. He drew a couple of different models that was given the name 'Triton'after Carl Milles' fountain containing a bronze clock with similar shape'.

- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
