Offered are 3 studio pottery stoneware bud vases crafted from clay with earth-tone glazes such as a dark iron or plum-brown. Their maker marks are illegible and they were obtained at an estate sale of a collector of mid 20th Century furniture and objects. They are likely made by different artisans and due to the porous nature of stoneware, not intended for water.
The larger one measures: 4.625" in diameter, 3" tall, and has a small chip that appears to have been touched-up along the rim of its mouth.
The medium-sized one has sgraffito-like concentric rings and measures: 3.875" diameter, 2.625" tall.
The smallest measures: 2.25" in diameter, has a flat round base that is 1.325" in diameter, and is 2.5" tall

The larger one has a reddish mark along the interior of the jagged and imperfect rim of the mouth. It is not known whether it was made this way. The two smaller vases have no discernible nicks, chips, cracks or fleabites. Any imperfections in their craftsmanship are innate, and any wear is commensurate with their age and past handling. less
