DESCRIPTION:
Pair of large scale solid wood industrial, rustic sling seat lounge chairs and ottoman in the California Modernist /
Lou Hodges design. Chunky wood frames with steel bolts, sling seating. Not sure of wood type. 1960's-1970's era. I've seen similar furniture attributed to "prison workshops"…where inmates gain skills making furniture like this for schools, institutions, etc. Solid and sturdy, these need reupholstery.
