Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso ruby red over golden copper aventurine and gold flecks accents Italian art glass bird figure / sculpture. The figurine has sleek shape, with a cute face with little dots for eyes. The color is very rich at the top of the bird, with an Ombre fade towards the bottom of the body, covering the golden copper inner layer. It has a clear glass overlay that goes all the way to the tail. There are real gold leaf flecks on the beak. It feels light, so could be hollow inside. Would make a great display piece on any desk, curio cabinet or vanity. You will be able to showcase it as a decorative piece in any room. Mid-century era. Measures 4” long x 3 1/2" tall x almost 2” wide.
