This is a Hollywood Regency style pair of 3-drawer chests that can be used as night stands or side tables. The 2 chests can even be pushed together to create a larger credenza or storage console.
The chests have a stylized grasscloth-like texture and have been painted a blue-green teal similar to Benjamin Moore Casco Bay 2051-30 ("A rich hue touched by intriguing teal undertones"). The champaign gold tone ring pulls are backed with nickel escutcheons, so the pieces are great for interiors with mixed metals. Great details like mitered top corners and scalloped edging add to the glam of these case pieces.
The chests of drawers are in excellent used condition. The cases are sturdy, and the drawers slide freely. The painted finish is not original but is newer and in great shape. The drawer pulls are not original, and the outline of the former hardware is visible in some areas. One leg has been repaired. Minor scattered scratches and dents that have been touched up with paint. Please see photos for more details about the condition of the chests.
Each chest measures 30" wide, 30" tall, and 14" deep. Each drawer is about 5" deep.
