It has a slender, elongated teardrop body that rises to a gently flared rim with a delicate opalescent edge. The body sits on a ruffled collar and a hand-twisted stem of shimmering opalescent glass that glows pale blue, rose, and lavender in the light, finished with a round opalescent foot. Sourced in Paris, it’s in the style of the Italian opaline glass made in Empoli and Florence in the 1950s and 60s.

Lovely holding a single stem on a nightstand, vanity, or bookshelf, and just as pretty on its own. It pairs beautifully with blue-and-white, chinoiserie, and other pastel glass. See less
