This elegant French Louis XVI Style table features a removable oval marble top and is adorned with various carved classical motifs on the apron and legs. Its oval shape makes it compatible, depending on orientation, with just about any seating group configuration or an excellent stand-alone table. It has a timeless vintage giltwood finish that exhibits a naturally aged, soft patina over time. This table is a versatile piece that could serve as an exquisite plant stand, a charming side table, or a distinguished accent in a foyer or parlor. There is an original tax label under the table that was issued by the municipality of Milan, Italy and dating it most likely to the late 19th century.
