Hand-painted in rich golden ochre, black, and ivory, the expressive feline features intricately rendered spots, sculpted ears, and piercing amber eyes. The shallow, sculptural form is finished with a glossy black exterior and a distinctive spotted rim.

The reverse features holes designed to accommodate a hanging wire, allowing the piece to be displayed as a dramatic three-dimensional wall plate or as a decorative bowl on a tabletop.

A wonderfully graphic example of Italian decorative ceramics, this piece combines the playful exuberance of Hollywood Regency with the sophistication of Italian design. Equally compelling on a coffee table, console, bookshelf, or gallery wall, it makes a striking statement in both traditional and contemporary interiors. See less
