Set of four gorgeous antique Quarter-Sawn Art Nouveau Tiger Oak dining chairs dating to approximately 1900–1910. Beautifully constructed in solid oak with decorative lyre-form backs, shaped top rails, gently curved front legs and inset woven cane seats.
The chairs retain wonderful variation and character in the old oak, with age-appropriate wear consistent with pieces more than 100 years old. The cane seats are in excellent condition. Very solid/sturdy. Smoke free environment.
A great set for an English country, Ralph Lauren-inspired, cottage, traditional or collected interior. These would work beautifully around a dining or breakfast table, or split up as occasional chairs throughout a home.
