The expressive figure of Christ displays fine modeling and retains its muted polychrome finish, lending the piece a strong devotional presence and authentic period character.

The cross is crafted from dark-stained wood with simple carved decorative accents that enhance its rustic and ecclesiastical appeal. The naturally aged surface, combined with the softened painted finish of the corpus, creates a compelling sense of history and craftsmanship.

This antique wall-mounted crucifix works beautifully within religious, Gothic Revival, rustic, wabi-sabi, or traditional interiors, and can equally serve as a decorative object in curated collections of European folk art and devotional antiques.

The piece remains in good antique condition with minor paint losses and expected signs of age and use consistent with its circa 1920 origin. See less
