Gold-Tone Cast Metal Kissing Couple Door Knocker
A charming sculptural door knocker featuring two facing profiles within a circular ring, set against a heart-shaped backplate. The romantic kissing-couple motif is complemented by decorative scrollwork and a tapered lower finial.
Cast metal construction gives the piece substantial character, while its aged gold-tone finish highlights the textured surface and sculptural details. A distinctive accent for a traditional entrance, cottage door, or collection of decorative architectural hardware.
The metal attracts a magnet throughout and is believed to be cast iron with a gold-tone finish. Maker, country of origin, and exact production date are unknown.
Condition: Preowned condition with visible surface wear, darkened areas, scratches, and scattered finish loss, including along the edges and backplate. Please review all photographs for details.
