Its broad, curved back wraps around the seat, with small wooden armrests emerging through the upholstery—a distinctive detail that gives this design much of its character. Upholstered in exceptionally soft beige fabric with a long, fur-like pile, its surface shifts gently in tone as the fibers move, bringing depth and softness to the chair’s sculptural curves. The exposed wooden armrests and slender, splayed legs add warmth and balance the generous upholstered form. Just as beautiful from behind, the sweeping back makes this vintage lounge chair especially well suited to an open living space where its shape can be appreciated from every angle. Jepsen came to furniture design through upholstery, learning the craft in his father’s workshop as the third generation in the family trade.
