Each piece rests on a graceful round foot and is marked with the official Portuguese "Eagle" (Águia) hallmark—the state assay mark certifying precious-metal content.
The eagle stamp indicates 1° Toque (First Standard) purity: .916 or .925 fine silver. This hallmark was used from 1938–1984 on Porto assay pieces, confirming these are authentic certified silver.
