A pair of carved stone bookends featuring raised flower motifs, each panel showing a full bloom flanked by budding stems and broad, curling leaves set against a softly veined grey and cream stone.
The natural mineral patterning in the background gives each piece subtle tonal variation, making no two sections exactly alike. The carving has real depth to it, with the petals and leaves standing well off the surface, and a wavy, ribbon-like leaf edge running along the base of the composition.
