Each print is archivally matted in crisp white with a narrow cool dark-brown inner liner and finished in a dark wood frame. The original works are mounted without adhesive using fully reversible conservation methods. The presentation gives the delicate hand coloring and warm antique paper a clean, finished presence while preserving the character of the original works.

Originally published in Georges Cuvier’s (1769–1832) Règne Animal, the engravings depict an extraordinary variety of insects through finely drawn anatomical studies, wing forms, larvae, beetles, moths, and other specimens. Their combination of scientific precision, restrained color, and elegant French typography gives the group both historical interest and exceptional decorative appeal. Displayed together, the four works create a distinctive natural-history gallery with the visual richness of a collected interior.
