This pair of vintage red Brno arm chairs designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe were produced by Knoll in 1983. This iconic Bauhaus modernist chair, originally designed in 1930, is distinguished by its clean lines, simple profile and cantilevered construction. This tubular model has a cantilevered frame formed from a single piece of polished chrome-plated tubular steel. The chairs retain their original Knoll fabric upholstery in a beautiful deep, rich shade of red. Original Knoll manufacturer’s label on underside of both chairs with delivery tags dated Aug 16, 1983.
CONDITION
Very good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Frames are generally bright and clean.
