A very fine Louis XIII style desk in solid walnut from the early 19th century, intricately carved on all sides.
It rests on four twisted legs connected by a twisted H-shaped stretcher, each terminating in a ball foot.
The desk features a drawer in the front.
The entire apron, as well as the fronts and drawer, are fully carved with a charming foliate garland design.
The framed top has a border entirely adorned with a delicate crow's beak edge and decorated with a frieze of semicircles.
Dimensions: Length 140cm, Depth 73cm, Height 76cm.
In very good original condition.
