Pair of Louis XV style bergeres from William Switzer.
These arm chairs have elegant, rounded backrests, molded wood framing, sloping armrests, curved aprons and graceful cabriole legs all characteristic of Louis XV style. The back rest and arms have a light finish. The rest of the chair displays a combed faux finish that imitates zebra wood veneer. Note exposed ends of paired construction pegs seen in several places. The upholstery is camel or light caramel toned leather.
Made of European beech hand carved in Spain and finished in Vancouver, Canada. Late 20th or early 21st C.

MEASUREMENTS: 27.5" x 26" x 39.75 tall.
Good pre-owned condition. The chairs are strong and sturdy and sit flat. There is some wear on the leather and an occasional maybe a smnall spot here and there—see photo of seat. There are scuffs on the arms and backrests, as shown, and small glue stain by the top rail on the back of one chair.
