Tubular steel desk
designer: factory design year: around 1950 manufacturer: unknown country: germany measurements: h 73 cm w 129 cm d 50 cm material: chrome-plated tubular steel, sheet steel box with a satin finish, polished and anodized aluminum, black linoleum. Condition: good original condition special remarks: with slight signs of wear. This custom-made tubular steel desk was made to order in the 1950s. A german manufacturer made this piece of furniture in the best quality. We have given the boxes a new satin finish, and the top has been covered with new, black table linoleum. The two upper drawers have inserts for papers and forms. The chrome-plating of the tubes shows partly stronger patina on the back.
we offer a filigree tubular steel desk with a shallow working depth here. Formally, it borrows from furniture from the 1930s, as the handles made of anodized aluminum show the authorship of the 1950s. With the extensive restoration, it is now fully functional again and sets an interesting accent in the living room.
