19th century pine box from England with gorgeous hand-painted decoration by Guntram Velke. Guntram Velke is a well known folk artist in Mitenburg, Bayern in Germany.
The box is made of pine, and appears to be some sort of apothecary box, which has been expertly hand-painted in lovely nautical scenes.
The box is beautiful and would look great anywhere in the home or office.
