The tapered, pointed carapace is shaped from sheet metal and finished along its edges with fine serrated teeth, ending in a sharp spike at the front. A vivid verdigris patina in turquoise, cobalt, and deep teal mottles the shell, with warm flashes of copper and plum showing where the surface has aged unevenly. Two large claws are raised in a defensive pose, each with a broad, flattened wrist and pincers that open and close in a convincing curve. The shaded, near-black metal of the claws gives way to bright blue-green highlights at the tips. Slender, jointed legs in a lighter silver-toned metal are articulated at the knuckles and end in tapered points, while small paddle-shaped swimmerets extend from the rear. Tiny brass-toned ball accents at the shoulders add a subtle jeweled detail.
