Vintage French Louis XV Style Fauteuil Armchairs - A Pair
Bring classic European sophistication into your home with this exquisite pair of vintage French Louis XV style fauteuil armchairs. Perfect as formal parlor seating, fireside accents, or elegant statement pieces for a bedroom sitting area.
Design Details:
Each chair features a beautiful flat-back silhouette (fauteuil à la reine) crafted from finely carved wood showcasing delicate floral medallions, scrolled accents, and graceful cabriole legs. The frames display a wonderful warmth and depth to the wood grain.
Upholstery:
The chairs are professionally upholstered in a striking, high-end red and gold floral damask tapestry fabric. The large-scale medallion motif is meticulously centered on both the backrests and seat cushions. Padded armrests (manchettes) offer added comfort and complete the classic look.
Condition:
Excellent vintage condition. Frames are structurally sound and sturdy with minor, age-appropriate surface wear to the wood. Fabric is clean and free of major stains, rips, or odors. Ready to place and enjoy immediately.
