Add a striking splash of mid-century German folk art to your table or wall display with this vintage SMF Schramberg ceramic cake platter/charger. Hand-painted in the highly collectible and discontinued "Bosporus" pattern, this oversized 12-inch piece features a vibrant, stylized floral motif with bold blooms in cobalt blue, coral pink, and golden yellow, beautifully framed by rich green foliage and crisp black accents.
Crafted by the renowned Schramberger Majolika-Fabrik in Germany between the 1930s and 1950s, this platter features the authentic ink-stamped SMF shield mark and the debossed factory form number "72" on its reverse. Its generous scale makes it equally perfect as a functional serving piece for gatherings or styled as a dramatic statement charger on a hutch or gallery wall.
A stellar addition for collectors of European majolica, Art Deco earthenware, or those curating a colorful Grandmillennial or Cottagecore aesthetic.
