A beautifully proportioned Danish modern long dresser by Svend Langkilde, crafted in richly figured rosewood during the 1960s. Eight spacious drawers are arranged in two symmetrical banks, each fitted with finely sculpted recessed pulls that maintain the clean, uninterrupted lines of the cabinet. The striking rosewood grain is the defining feature, with dramatic, mirrored figuring extending across the drawer fronts. Its long, low profile rests on a restrained architectural base with a central support, giving the substantial cabinet a light, balanced appearance. A versatile example of Scandinavian mid-century design, equally suited for use as a bedroom dresser or as a statement storage piece in a living or dining room.
Please note this listing is for the 8 drawer dresser only. Also available are its matching high chest and pair of nightstands, offering a rare opportunity to acquire a coordinated pair of Danish rosewood cabinets.
