The three-piece service includes a lidded coffee pot, creamer and open sugar bowl, each resting on its own coordinating pedestal stand. Formed in warm copper with contrasting brass details, the set features loop handles, rounded bodies and an especially elegant coffee pot with a long, sweeping gooseneck spout and brass finial.

The coffee pot bears the circular “Oscar Nilsson – Eskilstuna” maker’s stamp. The creamer and sugar have small, indistinct marks; their matching materials, construction, proportions and identical stands indicate they were made as part of the same service.

Dating approximately 1910–1930, the design reflects the transition from Swedish Jugend/Art Nouveau into the restrained Scandinavian decorative arts of the early 20th century. Oscar Nilsson’s Eskilstuna factory is documented during this period as producing coffee and tea services in polished copper and other metalwares.

The copper retains a warm, softly aged patina original to the set. Brass accents provide just enough contrast without diminishing the character of the copper. The coffee pot measures approximately 9.5 inches high while resting on its stand. The open sugar bowl is 3.5”h on its stand and the creamer is also 3.5”h.

A particularly decorative example of early Swedish metalwork and a beautiful display piece for a bar, dining room, kitchen or collected European interior.
