Standing 2.30 meters tall, it is distinguished by its large central mirror, display shelves, and particularly elegant design. A rare piece, it was likely originally intended for a café, restaurant, or shop.

materials: made of solid wood and veneer, the bistro cabinet retains its large antique mirror (note that it is pitted). Its black waxed patina highlights the moldings, turned columns, and lines of its structure.

features: the lower section of the cabinet opens with two doors to reveal two storage levels. Above this is a wide shelf and a large mirror framed by turned columns, along with four small, crescent-shaped side shelves, probably intended for displaying glasses, bottles, or other objects. The whole is topped with a substantial molded cornice with rounded ends. The lock on the lower cabinet is no longer functional, but this does not prevent the doors from closing properly.

restoration: this antique bistro cabinet has undergone extensive restoration. It has been sanded and treated against wood-boring insects. Several elements have been re-glued, and damaged veneer has been repaired. A black patina has then been applied and protected with wax.

dimensions: w142 x d37 x h230 cm.
lower section: w142 x d37 x h105 cm.
upper section: w149 x d41 x h124.5 cm. Shelf dimensions: w24 x d17 cm. Height: 33.5 x 33.5 x 39 cm.

an exceptional piece due to its proportions and composition, it can be repurposed as a bar cabinet or transformed into a striking mirrored sideboard in a dining room, entryway, restaurant, or shop. See less
