A curved wooden frame surrounds the deep seat, while the generously padded brown leather upholstery features elegant button tufting, creating both a luxurious appearance and excellent comfort.

Seen from the side and rear, the chair reveals its unusual floating construction, with the upholstered shell supported within the rounded wooden structure and raised above a substantial circular base.

Combining expressive Scandinavian design with rich materials and generous proportions, the Convair chair is a highly characteristic example of 1970s Norwegian furniture design.
