Add a touch of authentic Umbrian craftsmanship to your home with this beautiful, hand-painted majolica ceramic plate from the historic town of Deruta, Italy. Measuring 6.5 inches in diameter, this versatile piece works beautifully as an accent plate on a tabletop, a small trinket dish, or part of a gallery wall arrangement.
The plate features an intricate, vibrant geometric and floral motif executed in traditional shades of rich cobalt blue, emerald-green and honey yellow. The underside features the hand-painted artisan inscription, "Dip. a Mano Deruta" (Painted by Hand, Deruta), verifying its authentic Italian heritage. It comes ready to display via two integrated factory-drilled hanging holes in the rear foot rim threaded with a hanging string. I love the vibrant colors and design.

Features a minor manufacturing glaze variation on the rim edge typical of handmade, hand-dipped majolica pottery (such as tiny glaze skips/kiln stilt marks), which serve as hallmarks of its genuine artisan creation rather than flaws. less
