A antique crystal chandelier in the style of the French Empire Revival, dating from around 1920. Its imposing height, elaborate crystal ornamentation, and 15 lights give it its distinctive appearance. Numerous strands of faceted crystals form the tall upper section and cascade down to the richly decorated brass band. Long crystal prisms add further accents to the upper crown.
Below, several rows of elongated, faceted crystal prisms form a rounded basket. The combination of the tall crystal tent and lower basket is characteristic of the traditional tent-and-basket chandelier. The chandelier has 15 E14 sockets arranged around the central section. The chandelier has been fully restored and rewired.
