A charming vintage handcrafted heron sculpture featuring an elongated neck, slender legs, and beautifully sculpted form. The bird appears to be constructed with formed copper sheeting over a wooden structure, creating a distinctive sculptural silhouette.
The surface displays a wonderful combination of deep copper, reddish-brown tones, and green verdigris patina, giving the piece an aged, weathered appearance. Delicate detailing extends to the long pointed beak, textured body, and individually formed feet resting on a rounded base.
An unusual decorative piece with plenty of character, perfect for an Old Florida, coastal, tropical, or British Colonial-inspired interior. Beautiful displayed on a console, tabletop, or among a collection of vintage decorative objects.
