A newly restored Model FD 118 lounge chair by Grete Jalk for France & Son, made in Denmark in the 1960s.
Similar to chairs designed by Finn Juhl and Arne Vodder, Jalk’s model 118 chair centers around broad, sculpted arms that taper to an edge like the wings of an aircraft. A pair of broad bentwood slats provide excellent support while adding a layer of texture to the chair’s hind side.
It has been expertly refinished and fully reupholstered in a champagne leather from Edelman's Royal Hide collection. New webbing beneath the cushion ensures years of robust use.
