17th Century Engraving of Queen Henrietta Maria After Sir Anthony van Dyck
Original antique copper engraving depicting Queen Henrietta Maria (1609–1669), wife of King Charles I of England, shown in an elaborate court dress with pearls, lace, a flower in hand, and crown at her side.
The composition is after Sir Anthony van Dyck and was engraved in Antwerp by Adriaen Lommelin / Joseph Antoine Couchet, with publication associated with Gillis Hendricx. This impression dates to the mid-to-late 17th century, circa 1645–1678, and was printed in Antwerp in the Spanish Netherlands, now Belgium.
