Design Plus Gallery presents the Malawi Area Rug in Kelp by Armadillo & Co. The Malawi rug evokes novelty and nostalgia with rows of hand-knotted wool framed by a tasseled fringe. The ribbed pile is soft and supple, with an artisanal feel designed to bloom and blend with time. The color is named Kelp, a dark, earthy, painterly green-gray tone of 100% pure wool that was handcrafted by artisans in India under Fair Trade standards. Both ends terminate in a ribbed pile with a hand-braided tasseled fringe. The rug is in good overall condition for its usage.
