Large hand-blown art glass vase with a luminous amber and dark brown tortoiseshell pattern. The tall amphora form has a flared mouth, rounded body, applied loop handles, and a dark pedestal foot.
The vase is unmarked. Closely matching examples of this same form and approximate size are identified by European dealers as Italian glass from the 1970s, but the attribution cannot be independently confirmed. It is therefore offered as attributed Italian rather than Murano.
