Step into instant, curated luxury with this spectacular vintage French Provincial armchair. Perfectly styled to bring a high-end Palm Beach heritage aesthetic straight into a bedroom corner or reading nook, this statement bergère chair comes complete with a matching custom lumbar pillow cushion finished with playful pink pom-poms.
The Chair Design:
The classic Louis XV style bergère armchair features elegant, swept cabriole legs, open padded armrests (manchettes), and intricate floral crest carvings along the rounded crown. The solid frame boasts a beautifully distressed, hand-antiqued gold gilt finish over a vintage cream base, highlighting every carved detail.
The Luxury Textiles:
Upholstered in a romantic, English cottage rose floral fabric on a crisp ivory ground. The armchair backrest features a contrasting, classic green-and-white ticking stripe, matching the reversible lumbar accent pillow. The entire piece is trimmed in a heavy pink-and-green gimp braid, while the coordinating accent pillow is finished with a playful, bright pink pom-pom fringe.
Note on Provenance:
The armchair is a one-of-a-kind vintage piece brought to life through a meticulous, custom artisan upcycling process.
***Please note: This custom-upholstered chair includes a matching green-and-white striped accent pillow with pink pom-pom trim. It is meticulously designed as a cohesive set to match the vintage Louis XV floral ottoman footstool featured in my other shop listing. Inquire about special combined bundle pricing if purchasing as a complete set!***
