Elaborate antique-style Victorian scrapwork collage composed of layered chromolithograph cutouts, featuring a large turquoise urn overflowing with lilacs and other flowers, surrounded by colorful portraits of women and small photographic portrait cutouts. Presented against a warm reddish-brown ground under glass in a gold-tone frame. The reverse retains an S. Wolfensohn, 84 Forsyth St., N.Y. City framing label. Wolfensohn was a long-established New York picture-frame dealer documented at Forsyth Street addresses by the early 20th century.
