The intricate turned legs and the under-tier curved cross-stretcher base are tightly joined with no structural instability. • Surface & Finish: The wooden tabletop has a deep, warm tone with an authentic, well-preserved natural patina. The dark etched detailing remains clean and highly visible. Minor surface marks, soft edge wear, and superficial finish variations are present, all completely consistent with the piece's age and historical journey. Note: Most major imperfections were removed with the sympathetic restoration. Although this piece wasn't brought back to its original "new like" condition, it is restored to remove water stains, major scratches, nicks, and the most unsightly aspects of the piece without destroying it's historical integrity.
