All four sides and the underside are covered in pretty raised, symbolic details, including the Greek key design on the top and bottom of the base.

It's a very nice piece in wonderful condition. All parts are well attached and it sits flat. Nice as part of a collection or as a unique book stack topper. It's unusual and a great conversation piece.
