Its design is a thoughtful homage to that golden age, with a striking visual appeal that captures the essence of classic Hollywood grandeur. The table (circa early 1970's) is distinguished by its substantial 42" x .50" round glass top, which provides a sleek and contemporary surface while allowing for an unobstructed view of the unique base beneath. This intricate serpentine base is a masterpiece of design, meticulously crafted with an alluring rhythm of alternating frosted Lucite rods and polished chrome tubes. The juxtaposition of these materials—the ethereal translucence of the Lucite against the reflective gleam of the chrome—creates a dynamic and captivating visual texture, adding depth and intrigue to this already exquisite piece. This coffee table effortlessly blends vintage allure with a touch of modern flair, making it an ideal centerpiece for any discerning interior..There is noidentifiable maker for this unmarked unsigned beauty and there are no replicas found online.. likely from Italy, but unconfirmed.
