Beautiful antique or vintage ornate solid brass or bronze picture frame with brass backing. It features elaborate scrollwork, winged lions and Roman type detail. An urn with free flowing fruit and a face below it tops off this lovely piece. The backplate is held on with screws making it easy to insert a photo or art.
It's a very unique piece and in good condition except for one finial on the top left which has broken off somewhere along the line (reflected in price). It doesn't really detract from the looks of the piece since there is so much other detail.
Lovely to place on a mantel, side table or open shelving.
Measurements:
15 inches tall
9 inches wide from the point of one bottom foot to the other
Oval opening is 8 inches tall by 6 inches wide
Depth is 10 inches when easel portion is fully open
*Antique pieces will show signs of wear due to their use and age. They are not perfect but we hope you will enjoy their lovely character
