A set of two glass bud vases with verdigris metal caps. These 1980s pieces are designed to be displayed as a set; they differ in form, yet are topped with the same geometrically pleasing metal tops. The exterior of the glass is made to replicate Italian scavo Midcentury Modern glass vessels by artisans like Gino Cenedese.
The softness of the pink glass adjacent to the beautiful green metal is striking and visually harmonious. These would make excellent hostess gifts or could be added into a glass collection quite easily. They are both watertight and would display a few small florals on a breakfast table nicely. They are wonderful on their own, without florals, and glow in the loveliest manner when illuminated on a window sill.
