The wooden top consists of four tongue and groove oak planks, which are delightfully textured and patinated. The oak's aged patina combines with its knots and grain to create a beautifully varied surface. Moments of scoring and staining across the tabletop are beautiful evidence of how this table has been used and loved over the years. Its frame has remnants of older paint and is made of sturdy cast iron with curved forms and lion's head and feet accents. The trestle frame makes this table a great choice for bench or banquette seating. Gently cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, ready for use in your interiors. We believe this to be in good antique condition considering the age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos.
