The top is made from a single plank of pine, and it shows a grid pattern carved into its surface. Each square measures roughly 1"x1", and the regularity of the pattern suggests that the table may have been used as a worksurface at one point. The turned legs support the tabletop while adding nice, subtle details to the table's otherwise simplistic design. This piece would be at home in a range of spaces and decorating styles. Gently cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, ready for use in your interiors. We believe this to be in good antique condition considering the age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos.
