Pair of 19th century elm joint stools from England.
This is a lovely pair of 19th century elm joint stools with single plank tops which have beveled and molded edges, following down to hand scalloped aprons, also with hand carved and molded decoration. The stools are supported on splayed legs, nicely hand turned and joined by simple stretchers with routed edges for added design detail. They are raised on hand turned feet. Pegged construction.
These stools are superb and we are so lucky to be able to offer a pair for sale.
