An expressive and skillful execution of a mid-century modern abstract panoramic landscape oil painting on canvas.

Thought this is a representational piece, there is a strong abstract, painterly feel to the overall piece. This is no ordinary painting! The unpainted, back side of the canvas has medium to create the subtlest wave in the fabric which echos the waves in the water and pool. It's a brilliant, yet simple attention to detail. The scene itself lends to an expressive, enigmatic composition through brushwork and color.

The color palette is masterfully layered; balancing bold and soft hues. Confident brush work and use of color showcases a level of excellence, skill and an emotional connection to this scene.

Size: 16 7/8 x 15 1/4 inch
Medium: Oil on Canvas

The sleek black frame has a tiny imperfection, though it is still a lovely finishing touch for this magnificent contemporary painting.
