Dramatic vintage Hollywood Regency / Neoclassical floor lamp featuring a tall fluted column, richly detailed brass-tone metalwork and sculptural foliate ornamentation. The slender column rises from an architectural stepped pedestal on a contrasting dark plinth, while an elaborate crown of dimensional leaves creates a striking transition to the oversized tailored shade.
The lamp was acquired from an estate collection of Hollywood Regency lighting. According to the estate seller, this particular lamp had originally been used at the Regency Hotel in Hollywood. The hotel attribution has not been independently verified and is presented as the history conveyed with the piece.
With its monumental proportions, classical detailing and wonderfully theatrical silhouette, it makes an impressive statement piece for a Hollywood Regency, Neoclassical, Traditional or eclectic interior.

Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. The brass-tone and metal elements show areas of patina, surface wear and minor marks consistent with age. The black marble base has a visible crack, as shown in the photographs. The original oversized shade is included and shows age-related staining, particularly along the trim and seams, with areas where the shade seams/trim have begun to separate. Despite these imperfections, the original shade remains an important part of the lamp’s dramatic proportions and presentation. Lamp is in working condition. Please review all photographs closely as part of the condition description.
