Elegant vintage mahogany three-drawer nightstand or bachelor’s chest featuring a graceful serpentine front and warm reddish-brown finish. The piece is accented with traditional antiqued brass bail pulls and a decorative keyhole escutcheon. Three generously sized drawers feature dovetail construction, reflecting quality traditional craftsmanship. The rich mahogany grain, subtly curved drawer fronts, and classic proportions give the piece a refined Georgian / Federal-inspired character, suitable as a nightstand, bedside chest, or small accent chest.
Based on the visible grain, color, and construction, the primary exterior wood appears to be mahogany or mahogany veneer, while the drawer interiors are constructed from a lighter secondary wood.
