Richly ornamented with scrolling acanthus foliage, shells, floral motifs, and pierced detailing, the mirror captures the theatrical elegance of 18th-century Rococo design while reflecting the craftsmanship and decorative tastes of the late 20th century.

The shaped gilt frame surrounds a softly arched mirror plate and is enhanced by a distinctive marbled glass border. The mottled glass panels introduce subtle variations of color and texture, creating a beautiful contrast with the warm gilded finish and adding depth to the overall composition. Intricately carved floral clusters and flowing scrollwork extend beyond the frame, giving the mirror a sculptural presence that is striking from every angle.

Retaining its Made in Belgium label on the reverse and dated 1974 on the frame, this mirror is a documented example of Deknudt's decorative production. Its generous ornamentation and luminous surfaces make it an ideal statement piece for a hallway, bedroom, dressing room, or above a console, mantel, or chest of drawers.

Presented in good vintage condition with light wear to the gilding, consistent with age and use, enhancing its authentic patina and decorative character. This piece has an attribution mark,
